The Split Ends: Uncut - “A punk circus cabaret show for children and their adults”
The Split Ends are a troupe of misfits performing their wild circus cabaret for children age 7+. Packed with incredible skill, banging live tunes and raw honesty, this show uses stories about hair to celebrate our own uniqueness and diversity, and how, with all our differences, together we are unstoppable.
The Split Ends: Uncut is a celebration of the relationship we have with our hair, our identity, our strength in embracing who we are. Five circus performers take to the stage to tell their story. From stories of conformity and expectations, to breaking the rules and calling out in solidarity to love our misfit selves.
The Split Ends: Uncut will showcase high-level circus skills in a cabaret accompanied by live music, created especially for kids.
We have been awarded funding from Creative Scotland to rehearse and present The Split Ends: Uncut, which will premier in spring 2027 in Edinburgh and Inverness. More info to follow soon…
